Use the bypass tray. Use software that can override settings built into the RIP system if your using one. Freehand for example can do this while I cannot figure out how to get the adobe software to.

Set it to the envelope size in both page setup and freehand "advanced" in the print dialog.

To print them you have to unfold the top flap of the envelopes so the heat doesnt seal them and the paper sensor can pick it up.

Strange problem where is says no paper after each envelope, so I end up feeding one at a time. :( any solutions for that? I cant find the sensor

I suggest you get used to it or upgrade to a newer machine. I have 2 doc 12 and files that took 45 minutes to rip with the XP12 fiery and 20 minutes with the XP12e fiery or about 2 minutes my new equipment

I need the diferences between docucolor 12 and xerox 7132? please

Pretty vague question.
The Doc 12 probably has a Fiery Network controller, while the 7132 has a Fuji/Xerox controller.
The Doc 12 would have limited scanning capabilities while the 7132 can, depending on the config ordered, scan to E-mail, SMB, FTP, Scan to PC, and scan to a mailbox on the Xerox itself. If you have an embedded fax in the configuration, you can set it to catch incoming faxes and forward to e-mail, or a SMB or FTP folder on your PC or server.
The 7132 is rated at 8 pages a minute in color mode, and 30 pages a minute b&w.
The Doc 12 has been around since 2002, the 7132 is about 3 years old and has been replaced by the 7232.

Xerox Doculor 12 with Fiery EX12 not receiving print jobs

Check on the Fiery to see if Bonjour is enabled. I often have the same problems on Mac and it seems that once I enable Bonjour, all is good!!

The problem is because it has a bad or missing conection with the fiery. Try to reconect the cable from the printer to the fiery. if not change the cable because is brocken

Xerox Docucolor 12 copier doesn't print when sending to FieryEX12

There is no 1 part that deals with this issue i'm afraid. The copy from the glass uses all the boards in the same path that a print uses. It definately rules out the machine fault. I would guess that the machine isn't set up properly to receive these fierys. Just make sure all connections are secure, if not try other cables.

if its a print from system to machine do the following
1: check the cables from fiery to machine
2: press clear server in the fiery menu

its not ok
next time mention fiery model
