No sound driver

I have windows XP service pack 2 in my P4 PC can I get downloadable sound driver on the web?

Most probably yes. Do you know the model number or the manufacturer of your sound card? if yes, then please check it up on the manufacturer's website first. Otherwise do a google search.

I suggest you install XP service 3, this is the latest and has security fixes.

Can you find and enter the manufacturer and model of the desktop PC in question? (probably on the computer case) Also can you identify the version of Windows that you are running (3.1, 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, Vista, etc). Listing anything you already know about the sound card would also help.
