error 507 means that the operating system on the handheld is missing.
1) Download the latest version of the handheld os from your carrier's web site 2) Execute the downloaded file 3) Locate and delete VENDOR.XML from your PC's C: drive 4) Connect the BB and start Desktop Manager
507 means no operating system found. You will need to reload the OS. Device may require a clean wipe and re-install of the OS. The 507 error means that the operating system is no longer on the device. Any data on the device is gone, too. You won't be able to retrieve it unless you have a backup.
You will need to reload the operating system on to the device. You will need the Desktop Manager program, along with the BlackBerry handheld device software.
