Beware spam number 1*800*532*4187 Error code 1111 designjet 500ps plus plotter

The 04C*** error is an internal data bus error. The hard disk drive and the Jetdirect card share this bus. With the power off, disconnect the HDD and remove the Jetdirect card. Power up and see if the error goes away and the plotter goes to ready. If it does, put the HDD and Jetdirect card back into the plotter one at a time and power up again to identify the failing part. If the error continues with the HDD and Jetdirect card removed, the bus controller has died and the main logic board needs to be replaced. Have you solved this problem, as I post it's 3 months old. This is a serios problem and refers to paper axis shut down.

The memory is located on the formatter assembly, which is in the rear of the plotter, LH side by the JetDirect Card. (behind a removeable cover beside the paper roll)

86.01 can be a couple of issues pertaining to the movement of the carriage assembly.
1. Too much friction in the Slider Rod. Lubricate the slider rod.
2. The Carriage is bumping into the Service Station. If the carriage
is stuck at the right hand side of the Printer and cannot be moved
out to the center of the Print Platen it is because the Service
Station cannot uncap the Printheads. In this case replace the
Service Station/Aerosol Fan Assembly.
3. Check the carriage belt for wear. Check the carriage path for debris. If the belt is worn, replace the belt. Also, clean the teeth on the carriage drive motor, the debris from the belt will accumulate on the teeth.

one of the printheads is bad.....check the error code again,because 060308 does not exist in hp designjet 1055cm plotter.

Printheads are available everywhere, you replace them your self. Machine will usually indicate just one bad print head at a time.
