Hello David Plaice,
If you PLAN on NEVER taking you vehicle off of the movie set...
It is likely
you won't find out how the police, military, fire & para-medics (even we medics) feel about such an
EGREGIOUS, fragrant & flagrant violation of the LAW, NORMS... (ET AL). You'd be committing ...
Putting RED and/or Blue lights on the front of ANY vehicle is likely to be greeted by a whole SQAUD of ANGRY officers all taking turns dancing the fandango on your bonnet/hood.
Don't forget to
Put a lawyer on retainer = bad idea.
(I'm just saying).
And away you go...
Switch, relay fuse holders & solder are noted below... (heat shrink tubing would make it bullet-proof (nearly)).
The classic place to pull a decent battery feed is from the HOT side of your starter solenoid... FOLLOWED IMMEDIATELY by an appropriately sized (in-line) fuse...
Hope I helped.

you should use a relay so that the fridge is only powered when your kia engine is running. reason being to stop the towing vehicle going flat if connected direct onto the other battery when parked for a long time.if this wont be a problem as in you have a hook up when parked and not using the towing vehicle just connect the wire direct onto the battery thru a fuse.hope this helps

First, I would caution you that 99% of the cars that I have to work on for severe electrical system problems are due to aftermarket accessories that have been improperly installed or have failed for one reason or another and have caused damage to the factory wiring harnesses. Plugging into circuits that you don't know what they are can lead to many driveability problems and computer damage as well.
That being said - all of your IGN+ circuit fuses (Those that are hot only with the ignition on) can be found in the instrument panel fuse block located under the left side of the dash. The fuses in the engine compartment al almost allways hot at all times.

You don't say if it's "just" the dash lights, or if other lights do it as well. Try turning on a dome light and see if the dome light does it along with the dash lights. Do you notice your headlights doing this as well? These are just troubleshooting steps. If multiple light sources (dome, headlight, etc.) do it, then it's most likely a voltage regulator issue.
