I would suggest confirming whether the phone is SIM locked. If it is, it will be locked to a particular network operator (Globe Telecom) and the phone therefore would not accept any other SIM card.
In this case, you would need to refer to Globe Telecom to unlock your phone. Other parties do not have the authority to unlock you phone.

There is no way to unlock this phone by yourself, unless you're really technical, in which case you should search youtube for n95 unlock.

The easier way to do this is to call your provider and tell them that you are going overseas and will be using a foriegn sim card. Thet'll make you jump through hoops to get it, but they will give it to you.
