I had to turn the machine off before the design was completed. When I turned the machine back on I had to remove the hoop to calibrate the machine. How do I get the point I was at before I shut the machine down. The fabric is still in the hoop... thanks
Read your manual, different machines have ways of getting back to the last stitch. There should be information based on your specific machine in the manual, if you no longer have it, check online for a replacement
I don't quite understand the question but I'll try to answer what I think you mean.
Most embroidery machines have a command pause and command backspace in order to go backwards to a point that you want to correct. To get it going again it has a continue command in order to get it going on again from the point you backed up to. It is unnecessary to remove the hoop in order to do this.

The embroidery unit needs to be calibrated. Can only been done by a trained dealer. you can relax, it is not a major issue and shuold not cost you a arm and a leg. Ask the dealer to also calibrate your touch screen and download the working hours on your machine.

I have had similar problems in the past.
Do you hear a noise from the embroidery unit when the misalignment occurs ? If so, I suspect that your issue may be that you have some resistance under the hoop. Is there extra material that may be rubbing on the machine or catching somewhere. I have found that if I use some masking tape to keep all of the extra material from hitting any other parts of the machine or dragging under the edge of the hoop this error does not occur. FYI: I also stopped using the "optimize stitch speed" option at the same time. I believe that material dragging was causing the problem, but I still wonder about the stitch speed optimization feature.
SOURCE: bobbin thread tangling up
are you doing embroidery? if so turn off jump stitch cutting if possible. is the machine threaded correctly (pull needle thread out of machine and thread again with presser foot raised.
check for foreign matter in needle tension assembly. ensure there is sufficient needle thread tension.
the thread you see caught up underneath the fabric will be needle thread and indicates insufficient needle thread tension or something preventing the needle thread from being pulled up into the fabric (maybe a damaged bobbin case, or bobbin case position finger, or damaged needle plate hole).

SOURCE: stitching loose. won't thread the fabric
try to rethread the machine all the way back to the spool of thread and check the top and bottom tensions on scrap of same fabric

Calibrate the embroidery hoop
Note
The embroidery hoop can only be calibrated with the oval hoop.. You'll find the instructions for each machine in the relevant user manual.
