I can't get the ac adapter to turn on my fujifilm finepix f700 camera. the charge light won't come on

Could possibly be battery problems - try re-charging or replacing.

If the camera won't turn on, check the batteries, or connect the camera to an AC adapter. If that doesn't work, remove all batteries, disconnect the AC adapter, wait a minute, reinsert batteries and reconnect the adapter.
If the flash doesn't work, the camera won't take pictures, or the screen keeps turning off, check that the batteries are strong.

Plug the supplied AC adapter into the camera's USB socket at one end and a power outlet at the other end. Full details are on page 6 of the manual.

You should be able to goto any camera store, and they should have it as accessories. If not you can always go on www.ebay.com and search for finepix f700 adapter.

format your card first and then try..

Your A160 can only be powered by the AA batteries or by an AC adapter, such as Fuji's AC-3v or AC-3vx chargers. It won't operate on the power from a USB port. If this answers your question, please rate the answer favorably.

Is the battery fully charged? Or is the battery near the end of its useful life? Some batteries hold a charge better than others-- I have 2, both used well, and one seems to last longer than the other...

CCD failed, contact fuji, they got product recall for some camera models with faulty CCD.
