Question about Euro-Pro Shark Super Steamer

1 Answer

Shark Super Steamer

I press the button and nothing happens. I am kind of handy at fixing things so I thought I would take it apart since we bought it at auction a while ago and cannot return it. Wondering if anyone has any ideas why it wouldn't produce steam? It heats up very hot. I can slightly feel super hot air coming from where the you attach the concentration nozzle but when the button is pushed...nothing happens. Would anyone have a diagram of the insides? Thanks

Thanks! Figured it was something like that. Tossed it. That will teach the hubby to buy items at "returned goods" auctions!

Is it normally a good steamer to buy?

I need to get one soon and I'm not well versed in them. Thanks

Try the place that you bought it. They may have the supplier / manufacturer information of where you can get parts from.

Eurolab steam press is switching on but stays cold. Even on highest setting.

Not an answer, but a note to say this same thing has just happened with mine in Sydney. Its only three months old. I have contacted Deals Direct, and they don't have any repair options. They won't replace it becuase they model they have in stock is a newer one to the one I have, so a return seems to be the only option. Pity, because I loved this thing. It really made ironing easier.

My boiler keeps making a ringing sound. Like a small bell on a bike. What could be causing this noise

Note sure if its the same thing but my boiler (halstead Best 50) made a ringing sound just like you describe. It was the flue fan blades just catching the metal surround of the flue vent on occasions. It only happened when the boiler had been running a while. A new fan was fitted and everything ok now.
