Calibration of centre console screen on an ix35 highlander and nav problems

From the get go i have had problems with our centre console from clock not showing the correct time to the calibration of the screen on the right hand side being off. we have also had problems with the nav system not being able to find satellites on clear days. i am wondering if there is anything i can do to fix this as Hyundai have been no help and now that the warrant has expired are no longer willing to replace

Go to Hyundai motors factory website and explain this to them. They might get the dealer to fix it since the problem was never fixed correctly before the warranty ran out.

could be the rear shocks, but if you read the owners book. they don't suggest having heavy loads. 30kg does not seem like a lot. have you tried an 4 wheel alignment. first they can tell you if it needs one. second if there is a problem they should tell you what needs to be fix.

disconnect battery. remove 1 gearshift surround held by clips. 2 centre glove box liner, 3 rear console air vent. 4 centre console held by screws. audio stack held by small bolts. make sure you remove gearshift from P before you disconnect battery,

Nice & easy- Have your radio switched on. Push & hold the volume knob for 3 seconds. It should now say Initial volume setting (or something of the like), scroll to the right & it should say clock setting, press the volume knob again. Turn the knob to change the hour figure, press the volume knob again for minutes and press the knob again to set.

How to set digital clock on ix35 Hyundai highlander

Turn the radio on.
Hold down the volume knob for 3 seconds.
The display will come up Volume Setting
Rotate the volume know clockwise until the display switches to time setting.
Push the volume knob.
Rotate the volume knob to select the hour
Push the knob
Rotate the volume knob to select the minute.
Push the knob.
Done.

The Nav ECU is under the Driver side front seat. This is where the Nav Disc goes into.
