To program a new wall console for your Digidoor 3 to the receiver, follow these steps:

1. Connect the receiver to a power source and turn it on.
2. Press and hold the "Learn" button on the receiver for 5 seconds. The LED light on the receiver should start flashing.
3. Press and hold the "Learn" button on the new wall console for 5 seconds. The LED light on the wall console should start flashing.
4. Release the "Learn" buttons on both the receiver and the wall console.
5. Press and hold the "Open" button on the wall console for 5 seconds. The LED light on the wall console should stop flashing and the LED light on the receiver should start flashing.
6. Release the "Open" button on the wall console. The LED light on the receiver should stop flashing, indicating that the wall console has been successfully programmed to the receiver.

If the above steps do not work, you may need to reset the receiver and try the programming process again. To reset the receiver, unplug it from the power source and wait for 30 seconds before plugging it back in and repeating the programming process. It's hard to tell by the way you've phrased the question whether or not the button is doing what it is supposed to do, or if it is just the light indicator that is not working. So, I will answer both scenarios. // Press start button fully until you hear machine start; (usually less than one full second). In other words, hold button in until ''start'' is _heard_. After start has begun, holding button for 3 full seconds will ''pause'' the cycle. After ''pause'' pressing button again (just like first time) will restart cycle (i.e. ''take it off pause''). But while ''paused'' holding the button in again for any longer than a fraction of a second will cancel the wash. // TO CLARIFY: Press button for approx 1 second to start wash. After start has begun, pressing button for 3 seconds will ''pause'' wash. While ''paused'' pressing button again for less than a second (i.e. ''quick press of button'') will ''resume'' wash. Also, while ''paused'', pressing button for longer than a second (usually 3 seconds) will cancel the wash. // If the machine is (otherwise) working correctly, and your complaint is a light not lighting, then it is just a bad LED light. Best bet is leave it alone. Or, you could buy a new switch if the LED is _inside_ the switch. If the LED is on the control panel, then do yourself and big favor and don't mess with it.

Self Diagnostics

The V18 Chassis features Self Diagnostics to aid in troubleshooting problems that may cause the set to

automatically turn off or "shut down." The "Timer/Power ON LED" provides an indication of the sets operation,

and the possible cause of a malfunction.

1. Initial Control Circuitry Check

Immediately after the TV is connected to an AC power source:

• The LED flashes three times ... indicating the Microprocessor has initialized and is functioning

properly.

• If the LED does not flash ... the Microprocessor is NOT functioning.

2. Error Code Operational Check

To activate the Error Code Mode, while the set is OFF, press the front panel "INPUT" and "MENU" buttons

at the same time and hold for 5 seconds. The LED will flash denoting a two digit Error Code.

Note: The Front Panel buttons must be used, NOT those on the Remote Control.

• The number of flashes indicates the value of the MSD (tens digit) of the Error Code.

• The flashing then pauses for approximately 1/2 second.

• The LED then flashes indicating the value of the LSD (ones digit) of the Error Code.

• The Error Code is repeated a total of 5 times.

Example: For Error Code is "24", the LED will flash 2 times, pause, and then flash 4 times.

3. Error Codes

The Error Code designations indicating a malfunction, or no malfunction, are listed below:

"12" ... indicates no error has occurred.

"21" ... X-Ray Protect circuit.

"22" ... Short Protect circuit.

"23" ... Horizontal Deflection failure.

"24" ... Vertical Deflection failure.

Displaying the alarm code

The alarm code is displayed by a repeated sequence of flashing of the ANTI-CREASE/END OF CYCLE LED (0.4 seconds on, 0.4 seconds off, with a pause of 2.5 seconds between sequences). The buzzer emits a series of ,bips" in synchronization with the flashing of the LED.

• ANTI-CREASE/END OF CYCLE LED: indicates the first number of the a alarm code
• START/PAUSE LED: indicates the second number of the alarm code

Now you must count how many times the LED lit up and we will know the fault code.

That blinking light may be the diagnostic light. Count the blinks next time it fails. Carrier units will have two different blinks depicting the error code such as one blink followed by a pause than 3 blinks giving you an error code of 13. Then look at the wiring diagram, it will have an error code chart telling you where to start with your diagnosis. You already know that if you remove the cover it erases the error code, so look thru the small window first.

The gear needs to be changed kit #41c4220a. Be sure to change the bottom bushing on the motor mount.

I have the same issue....two flashes of the light on the power button the repeat. The carrier is clear, so I don't know what else to do. Also, when I turn the power on, the carrier goes back and forth, hitting the sides very LOUDLY! Anyone else having this issue? This printer is a few years old, so no warranty, and of course, I just bought replacment ink for it, so now it won't work..worked fine till the ink ran out this time! PLEASE HELP!
