Tiny black spot lcd

Erika, Do you mean you have a black spot on the LCD of your camera?
We call that a dead pixel. Can be black and can be white. Most LCD's sooner or later have a one or more dead pixel(s). As long as they are not in the centre of the screen you won't notice them. Even dead pixels on the camera sensor can happen. These you won't see at all, because the software does calculate what that pixel would look like in that specific shot. And the software will place a correct colour on that spot.
Try to live with the dead pixel(s). you won't see them on the actual pictures. Not on the computer to tablet and not on a print.

TV showing color pixels but no picture and no sound

Well at least you didn't pay for the TV. Your panel is defective. Cheaper to buy a TV than to fix.

Half my picture is black...

Have you dropped it? Has there been an electrical storm?

It sounds like the pixels on the right half of your screen have died, which doesn't usually happen on its own. You can tell if a pixel is dead by looking right up close. Is the screen black like when it's OFF or is it black like there is light behind it and it's just blacked out?

If it's black like it's OFF, the pixels are dead. If it's black like it's blacked out, there is an internal error (meaning the screen probably doesn't have a problem, the motherboard does).

If the pixels are dead, you need a new monitor. You can usually buy a regular computer monitor and plug it into the back of your laptop, which will allow you to use the laptop & laptop keyboard while viewing the new screen.

You can also bring it to the place where you bought it; if it's within one year and this has happened compeltely independently of you (meaning you didn't cause this at all and it's a manufacturer's defect), they will usually replace the monitor or the whole machine. This also applies with extended warranties

The screen or picture is dim/gray. When you first turn it on the screen is black and slowly fades into a dim picture pixel by pixel.

It sounds like the lamp is on its way out. Depending on the size of the television, it may not be cost-effective to try to have it repaired. If it's under warranty, then contact either the manufacturer or the place where you purchased the TV, and find out what your recourse is. If it's out of warranty, however, there is a good chance that fixing it will cost 60% or what it would cost to purchase a new one. Sorry for the bad news.

Black line half way down the center of the screen, about 1.5 inche

There's a 'data control' and/or 'address' problem that's developed. Pixels depend on voltage, control, and data coming too their designated address.

A digital circuit feature called a 'DATA_ADDRESS_ BUS" are responsible for 3 criteria: Delivering voltage, control, and data to each pixel in less than a second.

1) If voltage fails the pixels don't light up. They appear black in color (their 'off 'state)....numerous pixels that don't light up look like a black line. But their actually individual pixels with no voltage.

2) If control fails then all pixels are white in color (their 'on' state). Without control the pixels can't adjust properly to high or low 'state', meaning brightness and dimness. This looks like a white line vertically on the screen.

3) If data fails then the pixels can't adjust to the proper color at the proper time.
This appears as a line that changes color out of sync with the entire picture.

Have a technician look at the pixel address registry circuits. As well as control and linear circuits....the problem is somewhere in there!

Pixel damage

Those small pixels are now damaged not much u can do with it. Some people say you can press on the screen the pixels affected and possiblilty get them to make contact and light back up ( I honestly highly doubt it) If u can live with and not very distracting keep watching it. But if you want to order a replacement, more than likely it will cost more than the TV did when u bought it. If its still under warranty get it replaced if possible.
