How to hook up speakers

Phone jack on woofer goes into computer tower (should be color coded green) and power cable on woofer plugs into 120VAC. Speaker phone jack plugs into back of woofer. The speaker cable has an on-off switch and volume control as well as a phone jack for your headset.

They have all kinds of wiring diagrams. Be careful.... Car systems are designed to handle certain number of speakers and resistance (ohms). Hooking up more speakers without the proper amplifiers can damage your cars radio.

without preamp outputs,you need to get a speaker line matching transformer.it takes the speaker signal,reduces the level,puts it thru a low pass filter if it is for a subwoofer. it basically is a tranformer resistor network that drives a set of rca plugs that will go into the amp. the only tricky part is noise,speaker lines have a poor signal noise ratio if you amplify them.
