Logitech quickcam I've connected the quickcam, installed the software and I can even see myself when the camera is connected so I know that piece works. No problem there. But I'm not sure how to start a video cam session so that the person on the otherside can see me.

1) DISCONNECT the camera from the computer (unplug the USB cable).
2) Download and run the software/driver from here.
3) Connect the camera went asked to, or when setup finishes.

Your webcam should now be all set and done!

You will need to load one of the programs that came with the camera in order to see yourself on the camera. Logitech has a control program on the install disc that will allow you to activate the camera and see the picture. You may have to set the source for the video to the camera in the control panel. I ran into this problem because windows was looking at another digital camera I used for photographs.

Solution was I needed to download the latest edition of Skype!

Normal 0 You need to go to the manufactures site and download the VISTA driver for the camera. Then follow the info below to install the program.



Disconnect the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.

Try uninstall both software and hardware,After that connect the camera and install the software,I hope it works for u.

I found the solution the drivers on the disc buy shipped are not the right drivers. NOR are the newest ones on Logitech's site. Uninstall them and use this instead:

Hello this is a good start. I would make sure the exact model or at least the series for your webcam is the same as this download.
I have a logitech quickcam myself and worst case maybe my CD can help you but if I lost it I can locate one on one. Let me know if this one works. Also I have gotten into the habit of saving a copy of each CD that comes with anything immediately on my hardrive and then burning those off to a DVD later on to have a super backup. As I get good at finding them online I think I will let this go but not yet.
