sometimes hard to see. Might be on the underside of the spout or on the back side of the part of the spout that it connected to the faucet. OR just compare to pictures on American Standard website

SOURCE: need to fix a broken moen kitchen faucet

I had the same problem with my Aberdeen single lever with a pull-out sprayer a few months back. If you are the original owner of the faucet, it's under warranty; you shouldn't have to pay for any parts. Call: 1-800-BUY-MOEN (1-800-289-6636) and tell Customer Service what the problem is. They will send you the Handle Mechanism Kit at no charge. (Mine was part #93980 for my Aberdeen faucet, but yours may be a different part number.) It's tricky to take apart and get back together but my husband and I have zero plumbing experience and got it all fixed in about 20 minutes. The Moen.com website also has exploded parts diagrams of all their faucets so you can identify exactly what part you need, and they have some little videos and slideshows to show how to replace parts. If you can't reach Customer Service on the phone, you can go to "Contact Us" on their website and email them a description of your problem.

How do I remove the body to get to the A912746-0070A Oring?

IF IT WILL NOT COME OUT THEN THERE HAS GOT TO BE A SMALL SCREW OR SOMETHING HOLDING IT ON. IF AUCET IS TO TIGHT IT WILL NEED TO BE LOOSENED JUST A BIT. THERE MAY ALSO BE RUST OR DIRT IN IT AND YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE IT OFF & CLEAN IT WITH VINEGAR OR RUBBING ALCOHOL THEN PUT IT BACK ON.

Hot water wont stop running on hot water side

If the hot water side of the kitchen faucet will not shut off valve under the sink, dirt,rust,and/or scale could have been forced into the faucet along with the possibility of flux and some old rubber washer from the old valve. You will need to take the kitchen sink faucet apart and most likely only need to clean it out, looking for any little black, brown, or white pieces to remove. If cleaning does not work because you cannot get into an area of the cartridge, you will need to replace the carteidge and or rubber seals. Make sure to clean out the aerator on the end of the spout when completed also.

hi! if tightening the knob(s), (or if you apply pressure on the knob of the faucet, for the models with no thread for open/close), modify the amount of water leaking ,you need to replace the seats in the faucet. if not ,just replacing the o rings should fix your problem.

Low water flow from kitchen faucet

Their is likely rust build up behind the valve connections to the hot and possibly cold water supply lines. Turn the water off to the house relieve the pressure and remove both valves. Once removed use a screwdriver to break up the rust. With a small bucket under both lines turn the water main back on slightly to clear rust. Replace both valves with new ones.
