Hello. I'm having an issue with an Elite Miracle two gate operator system.

The issue i am having is that both gate operators open properly. After the time delay finishes only the master operator closes . The slave operator will close after 30 or so seconds. This poses an issue because I have a mag lock installed which requires the slave operator to close first. Both the main PC board and Surge board have been replaced but problem still exists. I've checked limit switches on both operators and they ohm out correctly. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks

Elite gate won't open

this system runs of of the batteries and the system is constantly charging the batteries but if the batteries go bad it will act up even if the incoming power is good.

power it down unplug the batteries and use your multi-meter to see if you have good batteries.

Eagle slave gate not opening with master

Switch leads for master and slave to see if its a wiring issue. if the same gate fails to operate, it may not be your controller.

Have you checked the fuses? They are small and can be difficult to see because of the thin wires. Check those first, especially the motor fuse on the lower left corner of the board.

Does you system use a wireless remote or keypad, or to open/close.

My two remotes have stopped opening the gate unless i press the remote and touch the receiver wire or the metal post its mounted on. I replaced the 7 amp batteries and the remote batteries. didnt help. why...

That light flashing means a limit switch issue is present. Check the switch and all the wiring to that switch.

The memory could have been somehow corrupted. I would suggest that you call in an experienced person to reset and reprogram the open/close positions.

Where is the programming button to add a Homelink equipped car?

Follow the instructions on homelink's website for programming a garage door opener with a learn button. The learn button on the miracle one is inside the control box. After you remove the cover, you'll see the radio receiver on the left side near the bottom of the control box. The learn button is near the front edge of the receiver.

Hello,

The red and brown LEDs from the swing arms on the elite miracle one should not be shorted.

There was no continuity after a multimeter was attached to the red and brown LEDs coming from the swing arm.

The LEDs carry the function of indicating the input and output function and shorting them actually brought about no continuity.

Well it seems that their could be a limit switch problem. also if someone has replaced the limit switch they could have not connected the wires back up correctly. if your wiring and switch are correct than you have a bad circuit board. my opinion is to not even fix it and replace the whole opener with a gto-pto gp sl50 They are the most reliable opener out so far and come with all the features that elite charges extra for like a battery backup for instance.

the elite does not have that function, your are going to need to look for a time clock that holds open your gate...... the outside phone system or a programmable time clock that has been added to your gate...... oh this is an old post sorry. :)
