The CRU is a customer replaceable unit such as toner and drum. New ones have fuses that tell the machine that it's new. When they are installed for the first time, the fuse blows and resets the counter.

first u must change the fuse in toner cartridge,or u can take the fuse out off toner cartridge and put the programme menu # 1934 menu and going to new cartridge .
Rick and Felix are discussing the fuser, not the fuse error you are getting with the your printer. The error relates to a small fuse that is on the toner cartridge which goes into the printer. I am having a similar error message after getting a replacement from Cartridge World (although this is not the first Cartridge World replacement for this printer).
After much research, one suggestion was to remove the cartridge fuse and reinsert the toner cartridge. That worked for me and the CFU Fuse Error message disappeared for me, but I am trying to find out the PURPOSE of having a fuse on the toner cartridge itself. To protect the toner cartridge? Protect the printer? Other?
CRU Fuse error equates to a problem the machine has reading the print cartridge installed in the machine. It has nothing to do with the fuser.
Suggest that you change the print cartridge.
