I recently buy a samsung s630 digital camera.but i have problem in that.when i start the camera it indicate low battery.so i change the new pencil cell.but same problem is there.after few minuits camera is off.so whats i do???
How can you do that if the batteries low? That means she can't get into the settings cause it keeps dying..
There is a Battery Type setting in the Menu of your camera.
Do the following:
- Press Menu/ Ok button
- Go to Set- Up 2
- Select Battery Type
Under Battery Type there are two options:
- Alkaline- if you are using non- rechargeable batteries
- NiMH- if you are using rechargeable batteries

Same problem with battery saying low after new ones installed.

there should be a recall on this camera, brand new batteries in it and it says lowbattery and powers offf, very dissatified, samsung needs to help with this
Samsung S630 digital camera - Low Battery warning with new batteries, and then shuts down. Using new Alkaline AA.
Tried cleaning contacts. Same problem. How to fix?
the same problem, used dozens of new batteries only to take few shoots, disappointing.
Have tried a variety of rechargeable batteries and alkaline batteries, but camera almost always beeps 3x and says low battery. Useless !
I have the S830 but have been having the same problems. I have even tried keeping the batteries out and only popping them in when needed, but I still get the same battery low message, as I do when I put brand new batteries in. Surely Samsung should be made to state that this camera will only operate properly with a certain type of battery. What are my rights with taking this back to the shop, as I purchased it less than a year ago? Can anyone help?
