Error code - E225-0002 - Cannon i-sensys fax-l150 Does anyone know a fix to this?

Have turned off and on by hard reset by removing power cable and plugging back in. Unplugged and plugged back in telephone cable. Error still appears when unplugging the telephone cable. The machine is a number of years old. Any other ideas?

Removal instructions:

1) unplug everything and move the unit to where you can work on it.

2) Remove the paper, and remove the hinged lid (tilt the lid to the up position and lift directly up and off).

3) Remove the push button cover which lifts directly off - straight up.

4) At the top of the button control module is a recessed release clip. Use a flat blade screwdriver and push down on the clip. While pushing down, slide the control button assembly down. lift the outside edge up (there are straight clips on the inside edge). Lift up slowly as the connection cable needs to be unplugged. the cable itself unplugs. Just pull down evenly grasping the top blue laminated section. The blue goes to the outside (contacts go to contacts on the inside). Set the button control unit aside.

5) Using a #10 Torx screwdriver, loosen the two screws in the back corners of the glass cover assembly. Lift the glass assembly up (like changing an ink cartridge), and pull the front lip left and right forward - there are two clips at these locations. Pull forward and lift up. Remove the glass cover assembly off and set aside. Note, tip over and remove the scews (best to remove and put back in after the cover is back fully in place). In reassembly, be sure to feed the control button cable back through the hole, and that it goes back into place the way it came out (including folding back into the slot under the button control assmebly).

6) The black plastic cover has two metal clips visible. These are not the release clips (they hold a glass piece in place under the black plastic cover). The release clips are outboard of these metal clips and are two slots. Insert a small flat blade screw driver, and push the handle toward the center. While prying, lift the cover at that end up, pry the other end and lift the black plastic cover off.

7)While you're in there, you might as well clean the mirrors (THERE ARE FIVE OF THEM)and glass. At the front of the lamp on the botton, the lamp wires lead to a white two piece plastic connector. Unplug the lamp wires. Where the lamp is, toward the front is a black philips screw in the clear plastic piece that holds the front end of the lamp. Remove this screw, and lift the clear plastic piece with the front end of the lamp up slightly, and then pull the full lamp assembly forward and out. This will open the space to the mirrors and glass. Use a Q-Tip and small pieces of paper towell and glass cleaner to clean the mirrors and glass strips. I tried to remove these to clean them, but the metal clips were too tight.. better to clean it all in place. BE SURE TO CLEAN THE EYE!!!!!

8) Clean the bottom of the glass top assembly.

9) Reverse the above to reassemble. Be sure to plug the lamp back in, and the button control assembly. Leave the black plastic cover off.

10) Place the glass top assembly back in place, and snap it down before dropping the screws in the back holes.

Don't know why, but you should be good to go.

After doing the above if in a few weeks you get the same msg again go back in there and take the black top off the housing that the mirrors are in and leave it off!!!! sound crazy but it has been working on a lot of the machines that come in here.

It's a bad printhead, when it is removed, power should come back, but you need a new printhead. Wrong cartridge means the printhead is bad.

I have a Coby15 inch LCD TV hooked up to a digital cable box, only of few of my channels will come in. I can try and tune to the channels and they say please wait, this channel will be available shortly,...

Try turning off the power on your cable box, then unplug it from the outlet or surge protector. Wait 30 seconds and then plug the cable box back in and turn it on. When cable or satellite boxes are unplugged from a power source they reset themselves when turned back on, this can solve many problems. If you are still unable to receive your channels than this is a problem on the cable service provider's end. Call them immediately and describe the issue, they will be able to reset your box over the telephone and/or replace your cable box.

I have a SKPE Phillips phone VO1P8411B/37. In an effort to fix the phone I de-registered it. When I select REGISTER, it comes back with 'Registration failed'. I tried to put in the default code of 0000...

Firstly, unplug the base unit, then remove from this base unit the ethernet cable and most importantly, unplug the telephone line! Then remove the batteries from the 2nd handset. Keep everything unplugged for a few minutes, then plug the power into the base unit, wait 1 minute, then plug in the Ethernet cable and wait 5 more minutes. Do NOT plug in the telephone line just yet. After the 5 minute wait, put the batteries back into the 2nd handset and then follow the registration instructions from the manual (copied below)...

Make sure you have configured the language, country code, and area code of your
phone before registering additional handsets.

1. Press "Reg.". Register shall be highlighted.
2. Enter the system PIN (Default: 0000). Use "Clear" to correct typing errors.
3. Press "Enter" to confirm.
• Your handset starts searching for the base.
4. Press the top button on the base unit until the two indications turn off.

• If registration is unsuccessful, the signal icon displays steadily.

Like other methods, you must hold down the button on the base unit until the lights STOP blinking. When you have successfully registered your 2nd handset, then plug in the telephone line into the base station. I did the above and it worked! The trick is to be patient and wait the few minutes while everything resets itself.

The caller id on my vtech cordless phone stopped coming in clearly, why?

Try unplugging your base station (where the power and the telephone cable plugs into) leaving it unplugged, get your telephone set and take out the battery.

Put the battery back in your phone and power up your phone.
When the phone is back up and running, plug everything back into the base station... and test your caller id.

The telephone's base station sometimes needs a reboot. There are power spikes on the telephone line every-so-often and can do funny things to your telephone set.

I hope this helps.

Error message 222aO-reset power come on when I turn on printer. I have plugged and unplugged all cables and power sources.Any solutions to this?

the error message you encounter is new to me. however, you can try to partialy reset your printer.

1. while the unit is turn ON, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer
2. press and hold the # and 3 buttons together and dont release.
3. while holding the two buttons, plug-in back the power cord from the back of the printer.
4. wait for a couple of seconds, it will give you a message on the printer screen "PARTIAL NVM RESET".. when you see that message, you may release the two buttons.
5. in some cases, after you plug-in the power cord button frmo the back of the printer, the printer will become ONLINE.. and after 30 seconds it will automatically turn off. when that happens, just release the two buttons and press the power ON button to turn it ON.
6. after turning it ON, it will give you message "PARTIAL NVM reset".

note: after performing the steps, your printer will make some noise and it will eventually stops. then try to check if you still have that error message.
