hi, that is common with those scooters, Galaxy, Invacare Meteor all suffer similar problems once they get to a certain age, it's simply the electronics on the Tiller circuit board behind those buttons values changing ,changing the way the Tiller acts. such as the battery lights etc . By turning off and on you resetting the board until the components start to change values once again, it can be a bad connection with the red and black wire in a transparent plug , the pongs may need cleaning but should be done with care.
hi, sounds like a issue with the tiller circuit board or are the batteries fully charged ? i seen this before on low voltage batteries. the tiller board etc need a minimum voltage to work around the 20+ voltage, any lower will cause the effect you describe..
Check that you are not in freewheel. If you can push the scooter easily and the rear wheels roll then you are in freewheel. Move the lever to drive postion and turn the scooter on to see if that fixed the problem Hope this helps
Hi. Most probably its the throttle pot ( Wig Wag ) thats causing the problem. I am an Invacare service agent and I have changed these many times for this very reason. Also check motor brushes are not worn down or jaming. Good luck. Neil.
Can you clarifly what happens you plug in the charger in ?
Are you sure the fuses on the battery leads are okay ? the is one for each battery like a glass container ? check they have not blown, check the connections to the battery , are they tight ?
