Do you mean the BabyLock Protege Serger? Apparently the BabyLock BL402 (Protege) was also sold as the Riccar 739DE. That depends on the model. The Babylock Triumph (BLETS8) does not get oiled by the user. However, the Babylock Diana (BL480A) needs to be oiled at 4 different points. See the picture on page 63 (page 64 of the PDF) of the manual. Babylock has the manual here: https://babylock.com/resources/5148/download . Please add a comment with your serger model. I'll try to find the oiling diagram, if the machine needs regular lubrication. Do not oil any sewing/serger machine unless the manual recommends that as part of the maintenance of the machine. Some Babylock sewing machine dealers will provide you with the manual, if it is available for a small fee. The Babylock serger that I have access to didn't come with a manual. However, we were able to get one from the dealer.
