SOURCE: Amana APO95R Turning Off/Tank Light (!) On and Off

There are only two items that will shut it down after it is set to run. The bucket full which you took care of and low humidity in the area it is being operated in. Low humidity would not constitute a reason for returning it.

SOURCE: Blowing of cold air every 5 minutes, and it says FP on the screen

FP is the code for frost or freeze protection. The unit will automatically do this periodically to prevent any damage caused by low temperatures although it should not be running as frequently as every five minutes. If the outside temperature is not low then it could either be a problem with the exterior thermistor (not the one you see from inside your room) or the control board could be on its way out.

Not blowing cold air, do u recharge this unit?

only after you find a leak. first u have to make sure if the compressor is running at all. condenser side spinning. if compressor is not working it will blow hot air if the condenser is dirty or blocked but then u would get a minute or two of cold air then hot. you have to determine its empty or what else might be the cause before you start dumping in freon.

Car ac blowing hot air

pls the qty of freon is depending of the size but you can not add freon any time since no leak so chek may be
- thermostat
-hot water coil is on
- selector on heating
- compressor is defective or the clutch or coil
- low pressure swith open
-high pressure switch isopen

Intermitten AirConditioning

Sounds like there is either

1. Too much freon in there

or

2. Not enough freon in there.

Freon (R) being freon or low CFC equivalent.

Sounds like the system is working fine, then the condensor or compressor gets too cold and freezes up (or gets WAY too hot). when you turn the A/C off, the system has time to stabilize and return to a more 'normal' condition.
