I recently switched phone lines on Vonage. They have fixed what they can do, but they tell me I have to talk to you.

Yeah, I've wasted all morning messing with this. My personal outgoing message keeps reverting back to default. I just got off the phone with RCA and here's the fix for that part of the problem. Go into "Configure Out-Going Announcement" (page 23) and then select "personal," This finally made it stay there. The number I called for help is 1-800-511-3180, or 1-866-285-4651. Good luck!
SOURCE: RCA 25414 message light... doesn't
Fix for message light blinking on ECA 25414. Many folks have changed phones or bought used phones to find the message light blinking on the phone especially on lines they don't have. That is what I found on used phones. Leave yourself a message on any phone. Now plug that line into the correct jack in the back for the line that is blinking in other words line 1 or 2 or 3 or 4.. Call the number from the line you plugged in and retieve and delete that message. Hang up and shortly the message light on the phone should go out.
SOURCE: the message is blinking but there is no new
I inherited this phone,; how do I check new messages when the message is blinking? I don't see anything that says play.
SOURCE: Message Indicator Light Continues to Flash
Don't know about other models, but I just called RCA small business phone support (800-511-3180) to find out how to clear the message light indicator on my 25210 2-line cordless phone when it continues to blink but there is no message.
All you have to do is hold down the delete button for a few seconds and it will clear. Hope this helps someone else from going batty!
