Here is a tip that will help you with changing your dryer plug. Dryer Cord and Wiring Dryer 3 Wire or 4 Wire
be careful the voltage may be different thats why they make them with different plug configurations. check your dryer voltage requirement. usually the four wire type are for 250vac electric dryers.
black and red wire, will hook to either end of terminal posts, as long as the white wire connects to the center post. the green wirewill then atach to the cabinet of the unit,( usually a green ground screw just outside the termoal box anyhow!
ok on a drier on your terminal block the center wire is neutral the other two are hot on a four prong cord the green or ground wire connects to the body of the drier if the dryer already has a green wire coneccted to the body of the dryer then take it loose and hook it to the neutral terminal of the dryer then hook the green wire or ground of the cord where it was if you need any more help let me know
