Try formatting the sd card IN the camera. Never format an SD card while it is in the computer.

Check your manual to see if you can use an SDHC card. Some cameras can't.

SOURCE: I put a new sd card in my camera and it says check

Your model camera can only use up to a 2GB standard SD cards, and not 4GB or higher SDHC cards. There are several other possible causes for "memory card locked", "memory card error", or "no memory card". The most common is trying to use a 4GB or higher SDHC card with an older camera made before the SDHC format came out. Others include problems with the tiny slide switch on the side of the card, or the electrical contact switch internal to the camera. The problem may also arise from simple formatting problems if the card has never been formatted in the camera (note that this will also erase the card). Troubleshooting tips for this problem may be found at this link.

Testimonial: "Thanks so much. I did not know that and a 4gb is what I had. That was very helpful and very fast response."

Hi how do i get the pictures to stay on my sd card when i go to print them there no pictures

Using a PC or a laptop recheck the pictures are still on the SD card. Are you printing from a Laptop/PC or are you printing from the card you slot into the actual printer? You might need to check what format the pictures are saved in. It is the 3 or 4 letter code after the full stop on the picture's file name. Not all printers recognise every file type.

My computers don't recognise my camera

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire), just as you do to your printer. This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

My samsung digimax s500 seems to be stuck on. I can't turn it off. If I open the battery door will I lose the pictures on the SD card?

No . The pictures that are stored on the SD card can be downloaded on to the PC as the images are stored on to the card and will not be deleted unless you do with the camera menu or the PC.
Once the SD card is taken out remove the battery and tryt o tap lightly on the camera with the hood down. It might release any jamming . repeat with the battery put in , with the power ON.
If not contact Samsung service.

PC transfers files to and from SD memory card but camera show "No image" on SD card. Why can the camera no longer recognise picture files?

If you are putting pictures on the card using the computer and then expecting to see them on your camera, it doesn't work that way. You also run the risk of corrupting the card and even the camera.

External memory - sd card recognition on pc??

if it doesn't even appear on windows explorer either the sd card, usb link or iriver is defective. if all else fails try getting a memory card reader. this allows you to store files on the card through the computer and still be able to insert the card as external storage on the iriver x20. the only trouble with that is that its hard to get the card in and out of the iriver

My phone NOKIA 6300 could not find micro SD card. please what do i do?

If it is a 4GB micro SD card it won't work, a nokia 6300 doesn't accept HC (high Capacity) micro SD cards. Maximum you can use is a 2 GB micro SD card.

Don't forget to rate, thks
