They are wireless bluetooth speakers . You have to sync/pair them to a bluetooth source inorder for them to work. Check the panel and see if there is an input socket or port where you can connect to the source with a cord. However: you will have to supply the cords.
After you reset, all the settings would go back to factory defaults.
Maybe the default settings for the sound in setup are for two speakers only. Maybe you have to go into setup and tell it you've got 5.1 surround (or whatever you have)
The Wireless speakers have a remote system that is a round disk with a piece that sticks up in the center this should be wired to the outer L & R speakers on the back of the DVD player. When you turn the player on a blue light should light up on the round disk when it makes contact with the 2 outer speakers. I have my speakers approx 8m away from the player and they work well.
Speakers have a unique RF frequency that needs to pair with the receiver (kind of like a blue tooth headset with a cell phone). At times, the signal may reset, so, you may have to go through the initial pairing sequence. Try this: 1. Unplug rear speakers 2. Make sure the sound signal connector is plugged in to the back of the system properly. 3. Press and hold the ID button for 3 seconds until the blue LED light flickers. 4. Connect the power chord to the rear speakers.
I did this on my LG HT903WA, and it worked like a charm:
1) Power on player [with no disc in tray] 2) Using your remote control, press PAUSE 3) Key in 314159
4) Pre-set region code will be displayed 5) For multi-region, select 0
6) This will change to 00 6) Press PAUSE 7) Power off player at the electricity point 8) Wait a minute or two, then turn everything back on.
I found this on another site - after a lot of looking..... it worked for me!!
1. Turn on the dvd player. 2. Press eject 3. Type in 0000 on remote 4. A menu called region edit should appear. 5. Press 0 again for all regions. 6. Press enter 7. It goes to another region code menu 8. Press 0 again and then enter 6. Switch off dvd player and switch back on.
