I was told my Sony XBR-65X930D has split screen option (pip) does it?

Cannot be done and if older set you need the original remote--Sony had several different ones for different models for this--at our shop have a complete collection of them as needed for this kind of issue and others.

try looking under your TV's menu, find the pip or split option and set them up, then on your remote, you should have a pip/split button..see if you can now watch tv with pip or split. If you need more help please be more specific about what the tv is doing when you push those buttons on the remote etc.

A solution I found for our KV-32XBR200 was to press Setup on top of the set, then select the "Demo" item with TV/Video. The text overlay apparently banished PIP. Verified this twice, as I'm at this page because our remote can only turn PIP on :-).

if it is possible (not shure) choose PIP and after that choose your source.....

pls. use remot menu key and open main menu use DW key and select system menu see the PIP option is "ON" set option is"OFF" .

Sounds like your TV has a PIP (picture in picture) that allows your AVI (audio visual input) to be viewed simultaneously with your cable input. Check the manual for the correct buttons, but the one you're looking for says either PIP or AVI or something along those lines. Hope this helps

Hit the set up button on the TV.
You'll see options to change the language. The last option is to put the TV in "Demo Mode."
Put the TV in Demo mode, when the first screen appears, "Welcome to...." the PIP will disappear.
Hit exit before the screen moves to the "Menu." If you miss it, watch the demo once--it will restart--and hit the exit button the next time you see the "Welcome to" message.

my friend told me that if Tv is purchased from Canada will not work in Saudi Arabia but why?

Torned off the PIP option on the TVs own remote (cannot be done from the cable remote).

I pressed "Demo" on the front of my TV and it worked, I have an old Sony KP-53XBR35 VIDEOSCOPE XBR - no original remote and the Universal remote has PIP button but would not shut it off.
Finally it's off!!!!
