Question about Washing Machines
How to change belts in Keystone K108 8mm projector. I have been using the projector in a digitizing project with no problems at all. It suddenly stopped both reels' movement without a sound while the motor and lamp continued normally. The clutch and the other 2 levers were in proper positions. Only last week I had lubed all 7 marked oil ports with watch oil. My problem is that I cannot disassemble it for further inspection. I have removed all visible screws that retain the motor and it's housing and shields but it seems to be obstructed in the area of the front motor shaft. Inadequate movement of the loosened covers prevent observing just what is holding it. The loosened cover moves perhaps 1/4 in all directions but no more. I strongly suspect disassembly will have to be completed before I can get it back together! Thanks for any help or advice!! Denny
I strongly suspect a broken belt the covers need to come off.

NOW TO GET IT BACK TOGETHER AGAIN--MANY GEARS, SPRINGS, SCREWS, GEARED SHAFTS, MEH! THANKS AGAIN! DENNY PS-YOU DON'T HAVE AN EXPLODED PARTS DIAGRAM DO YOU? (INAPPROPRIATE GIGGLE!)"
SOURCE: not spinning
OK, if the motor is spinning but not turning the clutch hub, that means the transmission is jammed. You may be able to free it by manually turning the big pulley on the bottom of the transmissiion, but the problem will reoccur. The real solution would be to replace the transmission assembley in this case. (Transmission WH38X1002) Check the last pages of your users manual for warranty info. Warranty will vary based on model and date of manufacture. Typically, transmissions will have a 5 years part only warranty.

SOURCE: How easy to access the 3 screws?
Underneath. Don't see original post here, but to replace a pump (actually, just the pump motor) on an LG front load washer: Drain water out of small hose inside recess and remove access door cover (at lower left of machine). Remove one phillips head screw and use a plastic putty knife or similar tool to push in on left or right side of recess to remove the plastic recess cup. Now remove the two other phillips head screws visible. Tilt machine back and access pump Assembly from under machine. There is a tab that you will have to work loose. Disconnect electrical wires from pump at disconnect plug. You probably want to remove the hoses going to and away from the pump (squeeze clamps). Pump motor is easy to change out now with three more phillips head screws.

Please see the following (in particular page 10)
The E-clip is sometimes a bear to remove and a real pain to re-install.
There is a washer above the E-clip.
Please see again the following.
