My LG Monitor Studioworth is not working and only blackout seen, some times sparking like sound observe, when technician called he said that EHT burnt

Want to know how i get new EHT on what way residing at Amravati Maharshtra.

The normal crt monitor have a demo display when you unplug the vga cable to PC like this image below.. fd6b6b9.jpg
Note:
If the crt monitor green LED light steady and heater beam have light, the horinzontal and High Voltage supplied to tube is completely good. If you encountered this problem just focus on video section of crt monitor. But before you start... find the flyback transformer behind this they have two controls screen & focus. After you found it plugin the monitor use plastic precision or small screw philip driver for safety to high voltage at horizontal area choose screen control rotate it to clockwise direction follow this....
5b5166c.jpg If the display responses or from dim to lighter 100% you have a problem to ABL find this at the bottom of horinzontal section near at flyback transformer pins trace the line of ABL for dried solder, open resistor if nothing happen find the Video IC at chroma section and replace it. follow this...

What you can do since there aren't any schematics available, would be to measure the 1 half and write down the resistance and do the same with the other half and add them together. You should go up a little also, say if you are reading 1 k ohm, use a 1.2k ohm in it's place. The other way is to follow it upstream to see what the resistor is supporting. If it's an I.C. you could look up the I.C. number and go to website to see what resistor is required to support that I.C.

The Line-Out-Transformer is weak and the relay (spark beep) needs to be replaced. It is best advised to get in touch with a monitor technician who can replace the LOT and relay. If not, trade this monitor for a new LCD monitor.

In some cases, such problem could arise if the picture tube's electron gun circuits have become weak!

Disply very slow please help me
after 4 or 5 yrs EHT ( transformer that supplies voltage to CRT TUBE - MONITOR TUBE ) becomes weak - then 1 of the indication is ....it takes few mins for picture to appear...........so solution is EHT ( also called as flyback transformer ) should be replaced....... {{ few details about EHT---- its size will be around 3inch X 2inch X 2inch ---it will have 2 or 3 knobs to adjust focus , brightness ------ at bottom around 10 pins will be there ------- from EHT 1 thick red colour cable goes to CRT TUBE --------- on EHT its part number will be there }} -------- so if user is a technical person having idea about components ( resistors, transistors, diodes, etc ) , having tools like multimeter ( to check components) , soldering iron, soldering lead, flux, desoldering wig ( for removing components), etc also little experience in servicing field( compulsory) ----------------- then user can remove EHT from main board ---- take to electronic shop ----- buy same type EHT --------- fix to mainboard ( knobs on EHT should be adjusted according to picture --- after switching MONITOR ) ----------iam from bangalore (09986222774, [email protected]) ----- here EHT's price will be around US $ 10 & for my customers (in bangalore) i will take another US $ 12 as sevice charge......i don't have any idea about EHT ' s price & service charge in your place.........since it is very risky job i suggest to contact MONITOR service engineer ------- because they are highly experienced & can fix this component very easily.....

MY LG 500G CRT 14" monitor is become faded and very white color graphics(nothing seen with out white color) after 1 or 2 sec. when i re start the monitor i can see some very brigh graphics then again...
open the monitor there is a movable preset attached to EHT rotate that preset by screwdriver in active on condition of monitor reduce the brightness to satisfactory level

your irf 630 is not original purchase it from proper LG authorised service centre it is costly but never become faulty again duplicate mosfet overheats if your green led is on then measure voltage at E.H.T.connect meter at output transister if E.H.T. is producing then meter should show 1 digit if not then 50v will show take care that signal cable should be disconnected if E.H.T. is not producing then check +vcc at horizontal ic it should be 12v. if 12v is not present then check regulator ic 7812 insmps

Brightness and contrast increases suddenly
Check following:
1- VGA chord; is it loose or faulty?
2- Power Supply section not regulating perfectly.
3- Supply line from SMPS/Regulator power supply to EHT.
4- Brightness lines and controls (Resitance may be dry soldered or burnt)
5-Pin connection on rounded board of CRT neck may be loosed, Check it if loose than fit properly.
6- Adjust the precet for accelearting and focusing anode externaly fixed with EHT if inbuilt in EHT than only solution is to replace the EHT only.

My SONY tv KV-XF21M80 produces a continuous sparking sound
The tech is very likely correct. The EHT or flyback transformer can develop hairline cracks that allow leakage of high voltage that exists in this circuit. There are other related components that can also cause this, but the transformer is the most likely. This area in the set also builds up allot of dust also due to the high voltages and this aggravates the issue. I do not recommend operating the set very long this way as it may begin arcing inside and cause more components to fail. Replacing the part would depend on how much you want to invest in the unit. Get an estimate and go from there. Good luck.

That model number is not correct. What is an EHT? Must mean HVT High voltage transformer. If this set is 26 inch or smaller replace it. If larger yes replace the transformer.

4.some Old Gold star anlog and LG monitors If U found 12k Resister near by LOT and also bulched 1Mfd/63V capacitor
