I have a 19 " sansul cant get my ilive sound bar

I hope this helps. You have to connect your sound bar to your cable box/satellite tv receiver. If you are connecting with composite or component cables you connect the video cables (either the yellow or the green blue and red cables) between the television and the cable box /satellite tv receiver. Then you connect the red and white audio portion of the cable between the cable box/satellite tv receiver and the sound bar. You are going from the OUTPUT of the cable box/satellite tv receiver to the INPUT on the television and sound bar. You use the function/source/input button on the sound bar to choose the space you plugged the cables into on it or listen to the radio or listen to your IPOD and etc.

I own a toshiba 19dv500 and am having trouble viewing a dvd, the system is working but only in black and white, no colour\???

Hello there,

A black and white picture is most often due to a faulty or incorrect RGB (red/green/blue) connection or cable.

If you are using a composite connection (red/white/yellow RCA jacks), you have probably connected the yellow plug to a socket labelled Pr/Pb, Cr/Cb, or Y - on either the DVD player or the TV - most probably the TV. The yellow needs to be connected to a socket labelled "VIDEO". If you connect this to any socket labelled Pr/Pb, Cr/Cb, or Y, you will get a black and white picture.

If you are using a component connection (red/green/blue RCA jacks), one of the plugs is either not fully inserted into the socket or is in the wrong socket. If you remove any one of the R/G/B plugs, you will get a black and white picture.

If you are using a SCART cable (UK / AUS), you may have a bent, damaged or disconnected pin.

I suggest you check and correct the connections between your DVD player and TV. If you are unable to locate the problem, please try another cable as the one you are using may be damaged. If you are still unable to locate the fault, please let me know the brand and model number of the DVD player and how it is connected to the TV. If required, I can also draw a diagram showing the correct connections.

It would also be useful to know whether this "fault" suddenly occured, or whether you have just connected the player to the TV.

Hope this helps - please let me know if you need further assistance.

Regards,
BElectric

Wii display black/ white only

I had this problem too. It was just because I had the wrong cord that goes from the Wii to the t.v. I had a green, blue, and red for the video. And a red and white for the audio, while my T.V. only took yellow for the video. I just went out and bought the right cord that instead of having green, blue, 2 reds, and a white, just had a yellow, red, and white.
Hope this helps.

All of a sudden there is no color just black and white on my 27pt6441

this sounds like there is a problem with the cables connected to the tv, Make sure they are all pushed in correctly and in the right place. For example if you have a yellow lead and it is in the red plug hole then this may cause a problem. Some tv's also don't need all of the leads plugged in (Red,Yellow, White)

Alternatively if you are using a scart lead, it will display black and white if it is not pushed in correctly.

Big black box across the screen towards the bottom.

In some TV's closed captioning can cause this problem. turn off CC and see if that helps.

Black and White Only

I had a similar problem when I first connected my son's xbox using the Audio/Video cable (red, white, & yellow connectors). I connected the cable to the TV correctly, but incorrectly selected "component" as the input on the TV setup. Result was black and white display. Switch your TV input mode to "AV" or "Audio/Video" and you will get color.

FYI, "component" TV mode is only used with devices that use the red, green, & blue connectors.
