Question about Rival Vintage Electric 1101E Chrome Deli Food Slicer- 92130

I've repaired the blade retainer knob assembly on a Rival 1101E and documented the procedure. I'd like to upload it here. Nobody has asked how to repair this part but they're hard to find.

I bought this appliance secondhand having never seen one before. When I tried to remove the blade, it became clear that the blade retainer assembly had been kluged together. Once I'd figured out how it's supposed to work, I repaired it and documented the procedure with photos and text. I'd like to upload it here because replacement parts are hard to find, and improper repair of this part can make the blade difficult to remove and can even cause damage. Can I do this?

What blade can I use in place of Rival meat slicer model number 1101E/5 blade?

check ebay and craig's list for possible replacement parts. If the manufacturer is no longer supporting your product you may need to replace the entire unit

Rival mfg. co electric slicer blade is dull

New blades have been unavailable for years.
In most cases, I can have your Rival 1005 thru 1030 or 1101 blade professionally sharpened and returned to you for less than the cost of a used blade. mailto:[email protected]

1101E part number for thumb nut 994-572, threaded shaft 995-254, blade 993-386, idler gear 348-077, washer 854-023, these are the Rival part numbers from the orginal owners manuel
