Even search speed is slow?
What is slow, i. e. the computer, the booting of the computer, the network, the internet? All of these may appear slow if you are focusing on getting the computer to do a specific task that it is struggling with.
If the sluggishness appeared after you installed some program, try uninstalling it to see if your computer recovers, possibly using something like the Revouninstaller. Or, performing a system restore to a time prior to your experiencing of the sluggishness might just cause the problem to vanish.
Cold start your computer if you are in the habit of leaving it perpetually connected. This may refresh ram that has not been released from some programs you may have run but are no longer using.
You could check to see if Malwarebytes detects any malware on your computer.
If your computer is an older model, adding ram would decrease its dependence on churning memory into a swap file on the hard drive. How much free space do you have on the drive?
If the drive has never been defragged, defrag it. If the browser history has not been cleared in a long time, clear it. But don't clear it every time as this causes the computer to have to reload from the net a lot of "junk" that supports the pages you regularly visit. You just use up data allowances doing so.
I would avoid the registry cleaners in this instance. Try a disk cleanup found in administrative tools, alternatively. You might try CCleaner but maybe resist having it clean your registry; stick to it cleaning your cookies, internet history, and temp files.
If searches of the hard drive are slow, try Swiftsearch or Everything. If a search of the internet seems slow, check your data allowance if on a prepaid plan. If on a network and the intranet is slow, you may have a router or cabling problem.
As you don't mention your operating system, it is difficult to make a recommendation. I would run dskchk on an XP OS.
