Echo tools have a screen in the muffler to arrest sparks. Take off the muffler and remove this screen

SOURCE: ho spark on a pb 403t backpack blower

Be sure you have no spark ( 90% of the units that come into my shop for repair with the complaint of no spark- have a fuel issue). Be sure the spark plug is good.
If no spark then remove the ground wire from the module and check for spark again. You must use the recoil starter- spinning by hand is not sufficient. If still no spark then replace module. If there is spark with the ground wire disconnected then there is a problem with the kill switch or a bad wire.

Hello,

The number is on the side of the recoil starter, its on a white or silver tag mounted on the underside.

Hope this helps, Matt

SOURCE: ECHO PB-250 blower new used one time carb.needs

Your machine has a rotary-valve diaphragm type carburetor. These carburetors typically only have an adjustment for the IDLE speed with an available option to control the main jet with an adjustable mixture needle.

Here is the info on the Zama rotary-valve diaphragm carburetor.

Some have a small adjustment needle in the center pivot of the rotory part, under a brass plug...but most have nothing. Many end users and techs are complaining about the non-adjustable carbs. They are made this way to meet the more stringent EPA emissions codes that are getting tougher each year.

I have echo pb 500t blower where can i find a tool to remove the 4 bo!ts holding the head on ?

There is no special tool. The bolts are hex heads are require a hex tool to remove them. These can be found at any auto parts or home improvement store. Also, just an FYI, the head and cylinder are on piece on this model.

It want crank at all i just rebuilt the carb and still want crank and now it also has gas coming out the muffler

you either have a bad carburetor or you didn't put it together right when you rebuilt it. double check the diaphragm is on top of the gasket on the metering side. if the needle is stuck open the fuel will continue to flow causing it to come out the muffler

Hello I have an echo pb-500T, my cord won't pull.

Remove the impeller and check for loose motor mount screws. With the impeller off and the spark plug removed and the pull start functioning properly; if it still wont pull then its likely internal and due to be replaced.

I have an Echo PB-500T blower that won't throttle up. I bought this blower new about 3 months ago. Before this blower I had an exact same blower that gave me the same problem. I returned that blower...

Remove the in tank fuel filter and take it apart, the felt Echo uses on the filter clogs quickly. There is still a mesh screen filter in the assembly so make sure you put it all back together and reinstall the fuel filter into the tank.
