The Royal Typewriter Company now is known as Royal Consumer Information Products.
I have not found typewriter manuals as an option on the Royal Consumer Information Products web page for Manuals:

Nor have I found a PDF version of the manual you need online.
Therefore, I suggest you contact the Customer Service department of the company directly (via a phone call) and ask about the availability of the manual you need. You will find the phone number on the web page cited above, in the lower left corner.

If you are following user's manual instructions to reset the margin and can't, maybe your Royal Safari is defective? Insist trying and if still no luck try to ge a typwriter repairman, a species in near extintion by now.
It might be a ribbon problem. take the ribbon cassette out and look at where it has been typed on. Do the characters overlap? If so, get a new one. Or the ribbon might be dried out. Is there an impression control? Set it on heavier print. If you have a different print wheel, try that too.
