Need remote control 5 digit code for a SV2000 tv/dvd

If you already tried the tv codes for your make of tv, the manufacturer suggests using the dvd codes for your same tv make sometimes they use the dvd codes to activate or control the tv on some of those tv/dvd combos. If all this fails you can always use the code search procedure described in your remote's manual, but you need to be patient because this procedure will scan thru all the programmed codes(vcr,dvd,sat,cabl etc.) one at the time.

The codes to control a Funai SV2000 dvd player are 231 and 233.


To program your remote follow these steps:

1. Turn on your DVD.
2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button for at least 3 seconds until the red LED lights up and stays lit.
3. Press the DVD button on the remote so that the LED blinks once and then remains solid red.
4. Enter the first set of 3-digit codes from the list. The LED will blink once every keypress. After the 3rd digit, the red LED will turn off indicating that the code was recognized for the device. If the code was not compatible, the LED will flash several times and you need to return to step 2 to try that code again or to try the next code in the list.
   
5. After the LED has turned off, aim the remote at the DVD and press ON/OFF. If the device turns off, you have used the correct code and the remote was successfully programed. If the device does not power off, return to step 2 and try again with the next code in the list.

The manufacturer for this television is Sylvania, the standard codes for TV/DVD combos will work just fine.

The code your looking for is 0247. It will be listed as a Sylvania. It controlled both tv and dvd for me.
