I want to use my rode podcaster on my Chromebook. Why isn't it working?

The podcaster needs to be activated for it to work on the Chromebook. the way to activate it is:
  • Microphone settings are found in the bottom right area of screen with clock, wifi and battery indicator on it.
  • Click on that, you will see a volume slider.
  • If you have more than one input or output device connected, there will be an icon to the right of the volume slider that allows you to select options.
  • This will verify if your microphone works.

I have a IPOD nano MC526LL that keeps playing the same song or podcast over and over. This is something new. can you help??

Sounds like you've accidentally touched the repeat button.

1. Play the song.

2. On the Now Playing screen, you will see play and volume controls (bottom of the screen).

Under the album title is a scrubbing bar that indicates the time remaining of the song.

3. A small icon that looks like two circular arrows is on the left side below the scrubbing bar.

Tap this icon once to repeat the album. The icon will turn blue when repeat is activated.

4. Tap the icon again to repeat the current track. The icon will change to show the number 1 inside a blue circle.

5. Tap the icon a third time to turn off repeat. The icon will turn white when it's deactivated.

How do you place a podcast (MP3) into the podcast folder on the Sansa View?

Make sure you're Sansa is in MSC mode (go to settings/options, then "system settings", then "USB Mode", then MSC -- this option is available if you've updated your firmware to v01.03.02a). Connect your Sansa via USB cable and then open "My Computer", double-click on the Sansa View icon and create a new folder called "PODCAST". Place Podcasts in this folder, then close the window and "safely" remove your Sansa from the USB port. After the Sansa refreshes itself, go to "MUSIC" then "PODCASTS" and you should see your file(s)!

Downloading podcasts

On your computer, you can set your podcasts to sync to your Zune automatically or one at a time by dragging them to the device icon.
SET PODCAST SYNC OPTIONS
  1. In the Zune software, click the device icon, then click Settings, Podcasts.
  2. Choose your podcast sync settings.
What and how you want to sync is completely up to you. You can choose to:
  • Sync all downloaded episodes.
  • Sync all unplayed or partially played episodes.
  • Sync only the first unplayed episode. This setting saves a lot of space—only one episode lives on your Zune at any time.
  • Don't sync any episodes.

You have to use the proprietary Zune software to sync podcasts - the instructions are vague, so I would go to the Zune support forum to get further instructions on this:

Podcasts

Greetings,
As I understand it video podcasts will not work on the shuffle. However there are a ton of great audio podcasts that you can subscribe to free of charge from the iTunes store. Podcasts vary in length and mbs used. The podcasts I listen to are about an hour long. On a 1 gig shuffle you can fit about 26 hours of podcasts.
Let me know if you have any more questions by commenting in this thread. Also please rate me well if this helped you.
Take Care,
-WN
