You model appears to be difficult to find. The Elite is 24.1. I also read it is based on the 3rd and 4th digit on the model number, which would mean yours is 17 cu. ft. You can always do a rough measurement, depth x width x height in feet and rough tenths of a foot.

measure the internal dimensions ( width X height X depth and that will be the cubic feet capacity of the unit
while you answer may not be exact to what the manufacturers state , it will indicate the advertised size of the unit

What's your model number? Kenmore is just a name Sears slaps on appliances made by many different manufacturers. It's difficult to say exactly where it's at if you don't provide the model number.

But, be that as it may, it's never in the freezer section. If you have an older unit, try looking up top near the thermostats inside the fresh foods side. If you have a really old unit, take off the kicker grill plate on the bottom of the refrigerator and look to the left side for it. And, if you have a newer unit that is digital, it's part of the main control board.

there are 3 ways it can be held on,screws,snaps,clips or slides one way up or down or side to side,to make sure what you have get the model number from inside the frig. ,go to sears .com click on parts put in your model number and your whole frig diagram will come up and you will see exactly how it comes apart,let me know how you do-mike
