I have a GE Glass top range. I was boiling water the other night and all was good. I was installing a GFI outlet, and when I went to turn the breaker off I hit the stove breaker as well. When I turned the breaker back on to the stove the burners no longer worker. The stove has power but only after turning on any one of the range top dials. By just turning on one dial the clock will come on the oven lights will work... everything excpet any of the heating elements? Did accidently tripping the breaker fry some fuse in the oven or is there any sort of reset button? Any advice would be great. Thanks.
I have an electric oven that is turning on but not heating up. The oven, broiler, & stove top are not heating up. Any easy solutions to this?
It turned out that last week I had cleaned the warming tray, and pulled it out to vacume under the stove. Since it is a built in range, I didn't even think about the cord. Apparently it had worked its way out, while the clock and fan work on 110 you need the range to be totally plugged in. replugged it works great!!! Thanks for giving me a hint.

Sounds like you are only getting 120 volts to the range. Make sure you are getting 240 volts across the two outer terminals of the range power block (where the incomming power connects to the range) and 120 from each of these to the center nuetral.
