Setting the tax on my calculator

I want to set the tax on the calculator and cannot follow the Google instructions. Where is the set button?

First, you have to make sure the calculator is set to two decimals. Then push the tax+ button, push the rate button. Now push the rate you want the tax ON, then push the rate button. If you want 2%, make sure to set the rate at 2, not at .02

the rate button is the 2nd slide switch from the right.. just above the GT key.

To change the tax rate on the Canon MP11DX (and most others):

Slide the "GT" button to "RATE", enter your tax rate and hit the "TAX+" button. Once changed, slide the "GT" button back to the "ON" position.

How do you set the tax rate

Example: setting 5% tax rate

1. move mode switch to 'rate set '
2. press 5 (for tax rate ) followed by TAX+ button
3. Move mode switch to GT

to add tax to e.g 200 type:
200 TAX+, the result is 210

CANNOT SET TAX RATE ON CACULATOR

Turn off / on calculator (AC button)
hold down the % (set) button on the calculator
press the Tax +
Enter the tax amount you want
Then press the % (set) button again.
That's it!

press the AC button again and you should be good to go! :)

Setting tax

try switching the top button next to GT to rate,then enter your tax rate then % (8.25%) then switch the top button back to on (or whereever you had it set to) and hit the tax+ button. That worked for me. GO TEXAS!!!

step 1 pess the AC button step 2 press and hold for two seconds the % button step 3 press the tax+ button step 4 input 17­.5 step 5 press the % button that should be the tax set you can check it is set correctly by pressing the AC button and then the tax+ and 17.5 should be displayed
