To resolve this, please perform the following steps:

• Turn off the TV and unplug the power cord
• Connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI port of your laptop.
• Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input on your HDTV
• Connect your device using the HDMI connector (Refer to image below)

• Plug in the power cords for the TV and Xbox
• Turn on your TV and Xbox
• Enter the TV Menu and select Setup (Refer to the image and steps mentioned below)

• To enter the TV Menu, press the Menu button on Remote control
• Use the left and right buttons (volume buttons) to move between the icons

Select correct input source

• Input allows you to select the proper source based on how you have your TV and video equipment connected.
• Press Input on the remote to go directly to the Input Select menu
• Select HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 (Refer to image below)

If the TV does not work, please follow these steps:

Verify the PIP/POP/PBP function is disabled ( PIP/POP/PBP Compatibility - The only input sources that cannot work together are HDMI with HDMI)

• Press the Menu button on the remote control or TV
• Use the Left and Right arrow buttons (Vol +/-) to select PIP/POP/PBP, and then press <Enter>
• Use the Up and Down arrow buttons (Ch Up/Ch Down) to select PIP/POP/PBP/OFF
• Use the Left and Right arrow buttons to select Off

If issue is still persists, please move to the next step

Reset the TV current input to its default configuration

• Press the Menu button on the remote control or TV
• Use the left and right arrow buttons to select Setup, and then press Enter/OK
• Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to select Factory Reset, and then press Enter/OK
• Select Current Input Setting and press Enter/OK
• Re-check the TV functionality

The bulb went out, The clicking is the ballast trying to start the bulb

Hello sletak, This problem is actually common. Your degaussing coil has malfunctioned, causing the power supply to become unstable which in trun is effecting the memory settings in the processor. You have threen problems in one so lets start by looking at the overall cause first 1) degaussing coil going bad (shorted then opened) Replace this and the thermistor that is attached to the degaussing circuitry. 2) power supply instability (power surge from the degaussing circuit) replace the damaged components in the power supply section. Troubleshoot this thoroughly. 3) after fixing the power supply and the degaussing components you will need to manually degauss the TV and then use the auto-degaussing function to do the rest. The blue tube might be leaking coolant in the high voltage area, that is the cause of the POP. This repair might not be a DIY because of the lethal high voltage surrounding the CRTs tubes.
The slow response from the remote could be because the coolant has affected the main board where the IR signal are going to the remote sensor.

I just had this same problem over the weekend. Is your TV hooked up via HDMI?? Mine was and i've been having problems with the tv image shrinking whenever i turn on the tv, so i would have to change the channel 1 or 2 times for the image to come up normally. On Saturday I went to change the channel and then all of a sudden I hearld this loud pop and when the image came on it was just a sky blue screen, I couldnt see anything, but I could hear the channel. So I disconnected the HDMI and hooked up the tv with component cables I had and now it works fine. I ordered a new HDMI cable just to see if it will work again. If not, i'm calling Olevia.

This sounds like your convergence correction amplifiers have malfunctioned. These Integrated Circuits often burn out after a few years (STK392-110) they can be replaced with a higher version (STK392-150) However it is important to have the biasing circuitry checked to make sure nothing has burnt out as a result of the ICs malfunctioning. If you have a background in electronics you can repair this problem with very little effort, however if you do not have a background in electronics, I would suggest that you have your TV serviced by a qualified TV technician.
