Why i can hear faint sound on my mixing amplifier

If you are hearing a very faint sound from both speakers, make sure your tape button or lever is switched off.

"No sound from the amplifier but I can hear a faint pop when switching on" That means that a component, probably an IC, had blown on the Amp final circuit.

The amp must be tested and inspected by a technician.

have you tried looking at your phono leads,turn volume down until it is low enough that you can still hear the music playing,give the phono leads a turn to see if its a loose connection.if not,try the right channel phono in the left channel to see if this fixes your problem.also you could do the same with your speaker leads and see if that solves the issue.maybe a bad connection is the cause?.it may also help to try and move your cd player away from your amplifier.it could also have been overdriven (played too loud for too long) on the night of the party,only you will know if this was the case or not.

Could be bad TEA5711T AM/FM smd chip at tuner card.

These are what is called line powered speakers. Some sound cards have the power to amplify the sound enough to be heard plainly, and others do not. Try adjusting the volume from the computer. If that does not work and the speakers are plugged in to the green port on the sound card, I would recommend replacing the speakers with amplified (powered) ones.

Other than setting the volume controls in the software, make sure you plugged the speakers into the proper jack. Sometimes there are several output jacks, there may be a line out as well as an amplified out. If the speakers are not amplified, and there is an amplified out jack, try that one.

i would guess by the sound of that that the fueling is all up the ***,,the sound you are hearing is commonly known as pinking which is caused by an overly lean combustion mix,the fuel is actually igniting before the sparkplug fires(it ignites just by the build up of heat in the cylinder)get the reason the fuel mix is so lean is you guessed it (the aftermarket pipe),get the bike into the agent and get the fuelling sorted before it starts burning holes through the piston(and it wont be a matter of if it will be when)hope this helps

Your mixing board may not be supplying 48 volt phantom power, which is required by the U89. Check with a voltmeter from pin 2 of the XLR to pin 1, see that it's 48 +/- 4 volts.

There is a long list of things that can go wrong.
maybe you have played so hard, that the amp is broken.
so.. you can measure on the printboard, and see if you have the right voltage.
but you need the scematics.
Or maybe the soundspeaker is broken..

what was your amp? ic or transistorized? the output transistor of your amp may be opened, mostly it will short but because u still hear sound, maybe open and only the driver transistor are working. replacing output transistor or IC could solve the problem.
