Check if your computer is not updating or some other software are using your netwrk to check that
press ctrl+alt with esc .

After that go to the networking tab please let me know whats the utilization for the network .

Call the Lenova Customer Service Hotline and check with them. I tried to find what you need on the Lenova Support Drivers & Downloads Page, but nothing comes up for Windows 7 with your Model. Sorry, I tried..

Restart the machine in safe mode by pressing f8 on Lenovo logo and choosing safe mode.
Log on by entering your windows password and username then uninstall the veriface and restart in normal mode.
Then you can reregister your face and do the settings in the settings TAb given in veriface.
