Bassano oven mod-BA9FASS
I believe bassano is a type or model name and likely to be little or no use when trying to locate spare parts. You will need more details, including the name of the manufacturer and possibly the serial number as well as the model number.
Appliances, like cars, are often badge engineered - where similar models are produced by the same manufacturer with slight differences in specification but named differently because they are destined for different markets.
You should find manufacturer details in the instruction book or if that is absent an experienced white appliance engineer might recognise the parent company from sight.
If all else fails it should be possible to have a replacement glass door manufactured. A local glazing expert should be able to advise you. Such things aren't cheap but neither are replacement glass oven doors and a manufactured door could even be cheaper, but of course a manufactured replacement will not be painted.
Re Bassano oven, earlier post I mentioned that Bassano probably related to Milano brand, however I chased up the Hafele company who import them to Australia down here in Tassie. They were able to supply a new door for $800-$850, so we decided to spend that sort of money on a new oven instead. Got a good deal on an Artusi which is vary similar to the 900mm Bassano. Unfortunately, unless you have thousands to spend, you are going to have full glass doors on most 900mm free standing ovens, so the risk of it happening again is always there. Just don't use any cloth or cleaning substance that is even remotely abrasive, ever! on the glass door, no point in tweaking the nose of potentially sensitive glass ?
