They usually keep grinding until the compartment with the grinded coffee gets full or until you turn off grinder. should turn off after compartment reaches full state.

Hi, I'm using the machine coffee Jura ENA Micro 90. when I start to make a cup of coffee, the grinder is working until the cup of coffee is done.

It sounds like there may be an issue with the grinder's programming or calibration. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Check the grind settings: Make sure the grind setting is not set too low, as this can cause the grinder to continue grinding even after the brewing process has started. You may need to adjust the grind setting to a coarser level.
  2. Clean the machine: If the grinder is clogged with old coffee grounds, it may continue to grind to compensate for the lack of coffee being produced. Clean the machine thoroughly, including the grinder, and try again.
  3. Reset the machine: Turn off the machine and unplug it for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on again. This can sometimes reset the machine and resolve any software or programming issues.
  4. Contact Jura customer service: If none of the above steps work, it may be necessary to contact Jura customer service for further assistance or to schedule a repair.
I hope this helps!

Grinder does not stop grinding grinding

Unfortunately you must sent the machine to a service. Probably the transistor that drives grinder is damaged.

Just bought a mazzer super jolly grinder, used it once, the grind was too coarse (#6), adjusted it to a finer grind ((3), and the next time i ran it it stopped grinding, the motor is on, the grinder turns,...

yes, you have to remove the beans inside because there is beans stuck between the burrs. after removing the beans, start doing the finest first before loading the hopper then after putting the beans test the grind as you go courser.

I took off the grind settings knob on my Bunn G2 grinder... and now it won't grind!

oooooooooppppppppppsssssssssssssssss
you should not do this

the knob keeps two burrs together .The knob forces the screw (when you turn for grinding quality).
and adjust burrs far and close as needed
.reinstall it and turn the knob to the right until you feel tightness. Then, turn to the left 3 turns. and then adjust the grinding quality whatever you like .
thanks

Grinder runs but will not accepts beans for grinding.

Hi Try turning the big knob up to 18 and the small knob down towards the minus. If that doesn't work your are going to have to disassemble the grinder and clean out all the passages. What is causing this to happen is your grind is too fine and the grinder is compacting the coffee in the passage. Once it is cleared, turn the grind down but higher than you had it before.

I have the CCM-16A grinder that gets clogged while grinding. I have to shake it so the beans keep going thru to grind. How can I clean it?

Chris, unplug the machine. The the coffee receptacle out and clean out the discharge opening with a small brush. The coffee sticks to this opening and causes the machine to stop. Its a safety feature to stop the machine when the receptacle is full. Good luck.

I bought new green coffee beans recently, roasted it myself and wanted to use it in the machine but the grinder gets stuck and won't turn. The new beans are harder and smaller than the type I used to have....

This fixes almost all the "beans will not feed or beans will not grind" problems caused by coffee bean dust packed in the burrs. Oily beans cause this problem more fequently.
a. Pour all the beans out the top.
b. Open the settings up all the way and see what else can be poured out. Use your shop vacuum to **** grounds out the spout and backward out the bean bin.
c. Pour in some instant rice and start grinding. Reduce the grind to a small setting like six and then open the settings all the way again. (The grinder will not start at a low setting with the rice in it. If you let it stop, open the settings to about 16 before trying to restart.)
d. Pour out the rice and vacuum out the ground rice.
e. Adjust the grinder to your favorite setting and try a coffee grind. Grind until most of the rice dust is expelled (any remaining trace of rice dust will not affect the flavor of the coffee).
