No luck in finding merchandiser that sells RCA Opal MP3 usb cord

Unfortunately, my cord was misplaced during a move and I have been without my music for a little over a year now. I have recently asked my co-workers and friends about where I might be able to purchase a RCA usb cable, needed to charge and upload music.

My last resort is to order a usb cable online.

Yet, if I can find an alternative solution, like maybe purchase a used usb cable, or an electronics store that won't charge me an arm and leg, I will be more than happy to consider it.

Hi, How do I delete music from my Opal M4002 mp3 player?

if you want to delete music from your Opal M4002 mp3 player, all you need is use the usb of the player and connect to your computer. If the computer recognizes your usb then a folder will pop up and you choose open folder. Then you can right click on the music you want to delete from the player. That is all you have to do.

Moving files to Windows media player for transfer to opal mp3

You should be able to just drag and drop the folder into either the media player, or directly into the opal. To drop files into the opal, just click the my computer icon on your desktop, then after the window opens you should see the opal icon listed with the other drives you have. Then open up your folder with the music, highlight the ones you wish to move onto the opal, and drag and drop the file over the opal icon. If you did it correctly, windows will show you that it is copying the files to the opal. Good luck and enjoy!

WWON'T POWER ON

For one, you don't need the CD to put music on the Opal. It's a plug and play device. Go to My Computer on your desktop and you will see under Audio Devices "OPAL". Click on that and you'll see a folder called "Media" and that's where you put your music.

For not turning on, click Pause/Play twice

For charging, You need to plug in the USB cord into the computer to charge it. Wait 3 hours. The Opal doesn't have a real long battery life, i'd say around 10-15 hours. So you'll be needing to charge it quite a bit.

Lost usb to opal

Ah, this is the biggest fault with the RCA Opal: the dedicated USB cord. My suggestion: buy another one, take the USB cord out and return it to the store saying you opened it and you didn't get a USB....and that you'll buy another one at another store. i know it's sneaky, but that's the only way.
