Clock failed and stopped ovens from working except grill. As clock is not needed, I would like to bypass it and work ovens manually.
If you bypass the clock, how will you maintain a steady temperature, include safety features, or program functions?
What you seem to want is an outdoor grill. DO NOT bypass the logic board on your oven, sir. Help Me Find My Model Number RepairClinic com
Testimonial: "The clock only controls the power (+) going to the upper or lower oven. I have successfully bypassed the clock (see my solution under "Comments". Both upper and lower ovens work perfectly now, and no function is missing except the per-setting the clock controls. The manual controls of on, temperature etc. are all working just fine."

there is a safety stat/fuse on top of the oven exterior i think you will find that it also has blown. Make sure you have isolated the appliance at the fuse board first though, Good Luck

It sounds like a faulty thermostat, because when you turn the thermostat on it should supply the oven element and the neon light, so even if the element is faulty, the neon light should still come on regardless of the element working or not.
Hope this helps.

I have worked it out myself. After taking out the clock there are 4 wires going into a double set of 4 terminals on the right hand side of the clock PCB.
Top wire = Orange (+) pull off and connect straight to second wire = Red.
Third wire Brown (+) pull off and connect to 4th wire = White.
This completely bypasses the clock and the oven works perfect (manual) without it.
