Could have a problem with a sensor or some other computer problem, would be a good idea to have it serviced

Can you make lace on the Janome 15000

Hello, Cathy -

According to the instruction book for the Janome Memory Craft 15000 sewing machine, one can create free-standing lace with the machine.

This is the link to the instruction book (PDF document - Adobe Acrobat Reader software, free, needed):
https://www.janome.co.jp/e/e_downloads/pdf/mc15000v211/instructionbook.pdf

The instructions for creating lace are on Page 130 [image 136 of the PDF document.]

Best wishes.

My Janome 15000 doesn't sew over 400 spm, even though I have it set to 1000 spm. Is there a way to troubleshoot this?

Not all stitches can be done that fast. See which ones will, or ask your dealer or Janome.

The owner's manual is probably the best source for your question. You can download a copy here:

Janome sewing embroidery machine starts and stops

Just a possible suggestion:
Most sewing machine problems are caused by lack of lubrication.

Maybe the tension is causing an error code.

Maybe you can try oiling the recommended lubrication points in the owner's manual.

Serious difficulties threading the bobbin on a Janome 4100QDC - I have sewn a lot, so I cannot understand this being a problem for me - I blame the machine! I didn't have problems with my Bernina, which I...

Try changing the needle

Try rethreading the machine top and bobbin

Make sure the bobbin is turned the correct way In the bobbin case

It's possible that the machine needs to be checked for a timing problem

Janome memory craft 5700, purchased 2004

Take out your bobbin case and examine it for nicks, scratches and or rough spots. If the problem is not too bad it may be possible to buff out the bad spot with an emery stick or emery cloth. If that isn't possible or it makes too much noise after you buff it you will have to replace it. Look especially along the edges and underneath.

Tension Problems with Janome DC3050

If your machine is binding. It sounds like you have a threading problem. Check your manual and rethread the machine. The A is for Automatic tension I would not change that. I would also notify your dealer and see if you have thread under the bobbin case. All sewing machines should be serviced each year.
