After using the oven under my ge microwave over won't work

You have blown a fuse. Check inside the oven chamber and look for missing powder paint or signs of arcing, if so there is a paint to repair microwaves for this issue or else just dispose of the microwave. If the inside is good remove all the screws and remove the cover. Replace the fuse. If the magnetron was making louder noises prior then replace the magnetron. Since the fuse went the giant capacitor is likely bad. While the cabinet is open make sure to look for burned wires, check the continuity of thermal cutoffs, and check the main circuit-board for burned traces or components. The relays in most electronics are known for arcing (spot welding) and staying in the wrong position. Tap them hard with the back end of a screwdriver. During all of this use safe electrical practices by having the power cord unplugged. The capacitor could still have a high charge on it so be careful.

I have a GE Advantium Oven that just suddenly quit working...no signs of life. Could it be a fuse and if so, where is it located on the unit and where can I find one to replace it?

Dead appliance, power on wall outlet.

YOUR SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT!

Attempt this only if you are competent.

If your appliance has absolutely no functions at all, remove it from the mains supply, remove the case and see where the mains lead goes in to the appliance and follow the cable until you find the main fuse.
ONLY USE THE SAME TYPE AND RATING OF FUSE TO REPLACE IT.
The usual cause of this fuse failure is the door switches are contaminated or sticking. Check the door switches before putting power back on to the appliance.
Hope this helps.

GE Spacemaker Microwave JVM1441 BH04 tripping circuit breaker

your power transformer for the magnetron could have a shorted primary power winding, the door safety interlock switch could be mis-adjusted,this normally blows the internal unit fuse,a shorted high voltage capacitor,or diode,a bare wire inside the unit, more than the microwave on that circuit or a weak circuit breaker in the house power panel

My GE Spacesaver microwave is not working...no power at all.

Usually a Thermal protection (Like Circuit Breaker) this should be tested with Multi Tester. If this open, no Electrical Power goes to the Primary Winding of your High Voltage Transformer and will not power up your magnetron therefore no heat inside the Microwave Oven.

My Ge SpaceMaker XL1800 Microwave Oven won't power on any more.

1.Check power outlet for working.
2.If it is than you have broken fuse inside the m/w.
3. To change the fuse you have to disconnect the power to m/w, take the upper grill off, take the screw on top of control panel, lift the control panel up and removed. The 20 Am fuse located behind this panel.

GE Microwave - Power Cord Appears to be Dead

Most microwave ovens are equipped with an internal fuse. This is typically located where the power cord enters the cabinet. The cabinet will have to be opened to verify the fuse.

The magnetron is not directly attached to the power source, it has to be stepped up in voltage significantly, either through a transformer or inverter.

It is usually best to have professional tech check the fuse for operation. Most shops will do this for a small fee if you drop the unit off yourself.

Ge microwave model #JVM1540SM1SS

Check the internal fuse. Unplug it, unscrew and take off the cover, the fuse should be easily found in the back by the power cord. It looks like a regular fuse but is white instead of clear glass because microwave fuses are special. You'll have to measure it with a meter as a result and be sure to replace it with the same kind. (try finding them at radio shack) Hopefully there isn't something more serious also.
