The most common cause of this type of power issue is a failure of the filter capacitors on the power supply board. Below is a picture of the board with the faulty capacitors circled, there are 2 more under one of the big black heat sinks. The board can be repaired by replacing the bad capacitors. Below the picture is a link to a kit of the correct parts for the board repair if you want to do the job yourself.

Sounds like a bad Inverter board, or just the capacitors on it.

T-con Board is failing after warm up you need a tech to replace it very comon on that model

the problem is in the power supply(they know about it good luck fighting them)but there is good news.you can remove the power supply and replace electrolytic caps,EC18,EC19,EC20 all of them are 1000mf at16 volt use 1000mf at25 volt.you can also go to shopjimmy.com enter model number you will see power supply part number MLT169B
it will be cheaper for you to replace the caps,the board cost about $80.00 from them
