Not receiving any new emails on my tablet

Havn't received any new emails for about a week. This is important to me as I am very deaf and rely on my tablet for communication with family and friends

Did it work previously? If not, you need to add your service to the client app you use for email. Its easy to do. Just open the app, go to settings and add your email service.

Receiving no new incoming emails.

Check your email setup on your device to make sure user name and password are correct. Have you tried another device for email? You may have to update your profile or contact your providers.

Yes this can happen because of following reasons:
1. Your email is junked up with new mails.
2. Your tablet is not connected to Internet.
3. You are not signed in.

Fix these and it will again work out.

Sending and receiving emails require a client on your device such as gmail and a server that will send the email on to the recipient. It sounds like you don't have an email account set up with a server.

Have not received emails for a week

1. Are you connected to wifi?
2. If you are, proceed to third step
3. Check that your email address and password are entered correctly for your account.
4. If you are still not receiving emails, Google the default port numbers for your email provider and check them against the port numbers in the Mail app settings
